Senior Manager Content and Innovation (m/w/d)

Some of the things we'd like you to do:

  • Champion the role for custom activations and partnership amongst clients and colleagues
  • Drive big ideas that excite and surprise clients and are rooted in insights and data.
  • Pitch and present partnership solutions confidently to key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Serve as a senior point of contact, building senior relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
  • Translate and manage client marketing objectives and mandates throughout the content development process.  
  • With the support of a C+I Director manage key documentation e.g  scope of works , budgets, contracts, and PCA’s, etc.
  • Meet regularly with publishers, brand studios, content creators, platforms and rightsholders. So that you cultivate strategic relationships and are able to source  opportunities that proactively deliver on client business objectives. 
  • Have a point of view and stay connected to relevant marketplace trends, authoring client requested and proactive points-of-views.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Planning, Activation, Strategy and Analytics, to ensure holistic campaign planning.
  • Strong commercial acumen, comfortable navigating custom contracts and clear understanding of the commercial structure of deals.
  • Able to identify other revenue opportunities for wider Essence disciplines such as digital creative, paid social and organic performance (SEO).

A bit about yourself:

  • 4+ years experience in a creative, ideas-led role preferably within media agency or owner
  • Have a solid understanding of branded content and partnerships within the marketing mix
  • Interest in how the content landscape is evolving (e.g. AR, VR) 
  • Understanding of the role of media planning channels (display, social, etc) to create a thriving content ecosystem
  • Have good industry relationships with publishers, creators and broadcasters 
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied client requests 
  • Track record of building and maintaining positive client and internal relationships 
  • Ability to pivot and adjust to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Thrives on the details and on moving things from initiation to completion
  • Natural collaborator, presenter, and persuader
  • Pop culture maven, obsessed with current trends and what's next
  • Ability to structure big ideas
  • Ideation expert
  • Able to articulate a clear and compelling point of view whilst listening to others opinions
  • Fluent in German and English
