Junior International Business Development Manager (w/m/d)


We are looking for an ambitious candidate for the Jr. Business Development Role (m/f/x) where the main objective is to scale our offering while growing and steering the plista business successfully across international markets. Core responsibilities for this role include analyzing and supporting the development of new and existing business in global markets. To thrive in this role, you will be required to own as well as support on projects (operational & strategic), build and maintain meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders and stakeholders across international markets and are expected to have some experience in ad tech programmatic and digital media.  Most importantly, you have a hands-on mentality, are open minded, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are able to work autonomously and always thrive to find the optimal solution.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities by analysing and monitoring industry trends as well as performance of existing markets and clients 
  • Develop, communicate and manage go-to-market projects with Product, Engineering, Marketing and other internal stakeholders as required   
  • Act as plista HQ’s best practice stakeholder by supporting international teams with operational performance optimization and strategic discussions 
  • Support and scale international lead generation by managing the full cycle of partner development 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in international markets, at the Headquarter, sister companies and partners plan and manage large multi-stakeholder projects  
  • Identify, document and share Best Practices 
  • Ensure compliance of company rules and regulations (in cooperation with legal department and compliance officer) 
  • Create, customise and present company collaterals for market and business needs – presentations, case studies, documents by involving relevant internal stakeholders 
  • Innovate new ways to help improve workflow process within the team 

Your qualification:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in digital media and advertising business or programmatic
  • University degree in business administration (or related field)
  • You are able to set up and drive your reporting framework and projects independently and provide insights on business impact through data analysis
  • You are confident working with data and hold excellent analytical skills in order to easily identify key issues that need to be addressed
  • Work experience in international landscape
  • Strong knowledge of programmatic, mobile and video advertising
  • We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about media, advertising and technology - previous experience in Sales and Business Development highly favored
  • Solid network within the digital media industry
  • International mindset with the ability to manage numerous senior international stakeholders
  • You have strong MS office (especially excel/sheets, PowerPoint), HubSpot is a plus
  • You have excellent communication & presentation skills in English, any additional language knowledge is a plus
